Today we had like, a cyber-wellness course.
So eileen and vincent came and thaught us stuff.
it was pretty cool. much better than geography and chinese.
it started off with internet pornography.
how it escalates into things like murder and rape.
and a video of the interview of ted bundy and a psychologist...
then they continued with online hatrooms and blogs and basically, the main message was
not to reveal personal information.
i knew pretty much everything but yea.
by the way, this blog wouldnt have my pictures and stuff. i know how dull it will be but.
i didnt intend this blog to be a flashy famous blog like any other school girl's.
i like it this way so just bear with me.
we also had a test to see how addicted to the internet you are.
i scored a 47 out of 50.
i also had a friendster acc. facebook acc. email address, i know what is MMORPG (mass-multiplayer-online-role-playin-game), i have a blog and etc. i only didnt have a account at some gaming site. such a waste. or i could have been the champ addict.
hahaha.
Oh well, since i have two such wondeful tech-savvy bros, i get quite alot of information.
I know what trojan horse does, i can play maple, WoW, Audition, dotA, pangya, cabal, GTA, battefield, SWAT 2, far cry, secret of soltice and etc. i also read manga, download anime, chat and stuff.
Oh, by the way, some recapping tips on cyber wellness:
1. Do not provide personal information to strangers.
2. Do not meet up with strangers you got to kinow online.
3. Do not discriminate, insult or humiliate anybody under any condition using the internet.
4. Let a trusted adult know if someone is intimidating you using the internet.
5. Strike a balance between real life and virtual gaming.
there's definitely alot more but these are just some basics.
you can always find a teacher or something to know more.
this is really important nowadays because people now have access to almost everything on the net.
regardless of age, gender, or race. so you can actually get arrested if you violate some law or something. so be in the know of things and make sure you don't make the same mistakes.
and don't do things like searching for porn of course...
